This Legal Notice brings together the mandatory identification information of the service provider and the official contact details of V Império, in compliance with the rules applicable to electronic commerce in the European Union. It should be read together with the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.

3. Purpose and activity of the service
V Império is a Portuguese-speaking community and network of members, presented as a virtual nation, accessible through a mobile application for iOS and Android and through the website vimperio.org.
Admission is by application ("candidatura") subject to a community vote. The application includes a biography and, as a means of identification, an introduction video or an identity verification. A Member ("Membro") is a user whose application has been approved, and a Candidate ("Candidato") is one whose application is still in the voting process.
Within the platform, Members may take part in various features, including social circles and clubs, events, a shop and auctions of real goods and tickets by bidding. The operation of the service, the roles of the parties in each type of transaction and the rules of use are described in the Terms and Conditions.
4. Conditions of use of the website and the application
Use of the website vimperio.org and of the mobile application is governed by the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, which the user accepts upon creating an account or submitting an application.
The founding principles of the community are set out in the Constitution of the V Império.
5. Intellectual property
All content of the website and the application, including texts, images, graphic elements, logos, icons, code and the presentation structure, is the property of VIMPERIO LIMITED or of third parties who have authorised its use, and is protected by the applicable legislation on copyright and related rights.
The name and distinctive sign V Império, as well as the other names and emblems associated with the service, are reserved for the use of VIMPERIO LIMITED. The reproduction, copying, distribution, transformation or use, in whole or in part, of these elements without the prior written authorisation of VIMPERIO LIMITED is not permitted, except in the cases permitted by law.
6. Governing law and jurisdiction
This Legal Notice, as well as the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus. The courts of the Republic of Cyprus have jurisdiction to resolve any dispute.
If you are a consumer habitually resident in another State, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
7. Alternative dispute resolution
In the event of a disagreement, the user must first contact VIMPERIO LIMITED via [email protected], seeking an amicable solution.
VIMPERIO LIMITED is not bound by, and has not undertaken to use, any specific consumer alternative dispute resolution entity. This statement is provided in compliance with the applicable duty of information and does not affect the rights conferred on consumers by law.
As a consumer resident in the European Union, the user may have recourse to the competent consumer alternative dispute resolution entities and to the consumer protection authority of their country of habitual residence.
